Questions about selling to the Philippine government

What is Verisio?

Verisio helps businesses find and prepare for Philippine government opportunities. Verisio Intelligence, our AI agent, hunts for open opportunities and matches them to your business. We show the steps for each one. When office search opens, procurement offices can find you too, if you choose. It is a private service, not a government website.

How do I get involved in government deals?

Start by building your profile with Verisio CheckpointAI. It takes a few minutes and asks for no documents. We match you to open opportunities and show what each one needs. When office search opens, procurement offices can find you too, if you choose.

Do I need documents to start?

No. You can build your profile, get matched and explore with no documents. You need them only when you go after a deal.

What is Verisio CheckpointAI?

Verisio CheckpointAI builds your business profile from a few short questions. If you have a website, it reads it and suggests what you supply. We then match you to what is open. Once office search opens, procurement offices can find you too, if you choose.

Can I use a personal email?

Yes. With a personal email you can explore deals, get matched and read full details. To claim a deal or be seen by procurement offices, verify your business with its registration number. A work email has full access from the start.

What is Verisio Intelligence?

Verisio Intelligence is our AI agent. It hunts for government opportunities and matches them to your business. Tell it what you supply once, in Verisio CheckpointAI. It explains why a deal fits and says what you would need. It advises, and you decide. It never submits anything for you or contacts an official.

What do procurement offices see?

Nothing yet, because office search is not open. When it opens, they see only the profile you choose to show: your business name, what you supply and where you deliver. You can stay hidden and still get matched. They cannot see what you look at or claim, and no fee changes what they see.

What are the limits for each type of government purchase?

These limits come from the rules of the New Government Procurement Act (RA 12009). An agency can buy directly up to ₱200,000. Up to ₱2,000,000, it can ask for quotes, called Small Value Procurement. Above that, it normally uses Competitive Bidding, unless the conditions for another method are met. Some local government limits are lower.

Does Verisio replace PhilGEPS?

No. PhilGEPS is the government’s official procurement portal, and agencies post there. Above ₱200,000, Verisio helps you prepare and keeps track of deadlines. You submit the way the notice says. The agency receives bids, decides who wins and pays you directly.

What does verified mean on Verisio?

For an opportunity, verified as active means its notice was open on the date shown. For a business, verified means we checked its registration number. The notice itself always counts, and the agency’s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) decides who wins.

Why do I agree to terms before seeing the full details?

Anyone can see enough to decide if a deal is worth a look. Agree to our terms to see the exact budget, what is being bought and what you would need.

Who can see what I am going after?

Only you. Other suppliers and agencies cannot see which deals you look at or claim. A claim does not reserve a deal, so any eligible business can still submit.

Can a supplier pay for a better position?

No. No fee changes a listing or what an agency sees. When we publish a supplier score, it will use one public formula for everyone, and no fee will change it. No fee reaches anyone in government.

Where do your figures come from?

The total for awards comes from PhilGEPS records for 2024, and the share from public bidding comes from research by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies.

What does Verisio cost?

It is free to start. Suppliers will pay for the products they choose to use, and agencies pay nothing. Verisio never holds or routes contract payments. Agencies pay suppliers directly.
